TriggerAction designed this class as an opportunity to learn more about handguns. The overarching goal is to introduce the safe and proper use of a handgun so that it may be used to its fullest extent. The main focus is on helping the student to develop the knowledge, skills and attitude to safely and effectively handle and operate a handgun.
Topics covered include safety, pistol types and parts, ammunition, accessories, handling, cleaning, storage and shooting fundamentals. This information is presented in a low-stress environment at a slow pace which maximizes learning with plenty of hands-on time. Class time will last 2-2.5 hours which includes actual range time with a real handgun to demonstrate safe handling skills and shooting proficiency.
This course costs $100. You are free to bring your own gun for the class and range time. If you do not have your own handgun, you can rent gun + ammo from us for the range exercise.
Once this class is completed, you may wish to sign up for more one-on-one instructor time to further develop your skills or perhaps jump right into our NC Conceal Carry class.
